Bus Back Better

Jonathan Gullis at Transport OPQs

Jack, Jo and I were delighted when it was announced that Stoke-on-Trent is to receive millions from the government's Bus Improvement Strategy.

This will involve money for better evening and weekend services, improved roadside infrastructure and some money to improve our roads so buses can travel round more easily.

I will be meeting with the Minister for Bus to lobby about why widening Waterloo Road is so important to tackle congestion and help improve bus reliability.

My full question and response can be viewed here.
