Taking Back Control - Asylum Seekers Bill

ECHR Bill

I recently introduced a Bill to Parliament which said we should ignore the European Court of Human Rights, who have prevented flights to Rwanda, to offshore illegal economic migrants.

We have done this before with prisoner voting rights, and we should do so again.

We voted to leave in 2016 to take back control of our laws and borders. Parliament's sovereignty should be reaffirmed, and we should enact laws that this democratically government passed.

Sadly, Labour and the SNP teamed up and voted this down. However, I won't give up on doing all we can to deliver on stopping illegal immigration to our country.
