Success - Up to 1,700 New Jobs set to be Created at Chatterley Valley West

Thanks to funding from the Kidsgrove Town Deal secured by Jonathan, the Chatterley Valley West site between Kidsgrove and Tunstall is set to be redeveloped creating up to 1,700 brand new jobs and an advanced ceramics campus.

Nearly £4 million from the government’s Kidsgrove Town Deal is being allocated to the project, as well as £3.5 million from Staffordshire County Council to unleash the site’s full potential.

Work is already fully underway on the site, and it will be fully developed by 2023/24.

Jonathan, along with fellow Stoke-on-Trent MPs, Jack Brereton and Jo Gideon have been working towards an Advanced Ceramics Campus and this redevelopment will kickstart this plan,

With the very convenient location of this site, the 1,700 new jobs will be local to people across Stoke-on-Trent, Kidsgrove and Talke.

Once completed, the local area could see over £2.5 million spent on further regeneration, as a result of business rates from the site.
