Connecting our communities with better public transport

Money saved from HS2 will reopen the Stoke-to-Leek line, restoring a passenger service to the line for the first time since the 1950s, following Jonathan Gullis MP's successful petition backed by over 1,000 local people.

A new 95 bus route has restored a service to Harrisehead and Mow Cop, with the number 8 Sunday service being introduced to Ball Green, Smallthorne and Norton, and the 36/36A serving Tunstall, Burslem and Kidsgrove getting more evening and late evening buses. A new £3.50 a day city-wide flat fare and timetabling upgrades have also arrived. These positive changes are thanks to the £31.7 million secured by Jonathan for Stoke-on-Trent's buses from the government.

Jonathan is also running a campaign to allow free bus pass holders to use their pass before 9.30am, which is backed by over 1,500 residents.
