It was a pleasure to join Highways England at the their site for the widening the A500 between Wolstanton and Porthill junctions near the Etruria Valley development.

British Kebab Awards

Earlier this week I was delighted to attend the final of the British Kebab Awards with some of the co-owners of Tiger Bite from Tunstall.

Silicon Stoke

It was a pleasure to meet Richard from Swedish firm VXFIBER (LilaConnect), who are working with Stoke-on-Trent City Council, to roll out gigabit internet to the home, with £9.2 million of government funding from the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport.

Fuel Duty

Jonathan Gullis MP is demanding Government scrap any plans to increase fuel duty in next month’s Budget to stop hard working families across Stoke-on-Trent North, Kidsgrove and Talke being hit at the pump.
