More funding for Kidsgrove

Today the Prime Minister, Boris Johnson has announced additional funding to level up Kidsgrove.

The announcement is part of a wider economic package to accelerate infrastructure projects, fuelling jobs and the country’s economic recovery following coronavirus.

Today I asked the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, Alok Sharma,  about how measures to enable dining outside are essential to help our food and hospitality sector in Stoke-on-Trent, Kidsgrove and Talke.

People have contacted me regarding a vote during the opposition day debate, brought by the Labour Party, on NHS weekly testing. As is the nature of Opposition Day Motions, it was designed as a party political stunt to grab headlines.

Stay Local, Buy Local

This morning I went to visit Burslem and popped into local businesses and shops along the High Street.

It is great to see us slowly open up, with more to follow on the 4th July.

Supporting our most vulnerable children
