Your incredible local Stoke on Trent Conservatives have been out and about across Stoke-on-Trent North delivering our calendars and latest leaflets.

In May next year, we have a huge set of local elections to determine who runs Stoke-on-Trent City Council.

I recently introduced a Bill to Parliament which said we should ignore the European Court of Human Rights, who have prevented flights to Rwanda, to offshore illegal economic migrants.

We have done this before with prisoner voting rights, and we should do so again.

Once again, I want to praise Claire (Sharlotte's mum) for her bravery in sharing the pain she, her family, friends, and our community continue to feel after losing Sharlotte-Sky so tragically.

A massive thank you to Nigel Bowers and the Friends of Chatterley Whitfield for taking me on another fascinating tour of the sleeping giant.

Last week I was invited to help with mock interviews at St Margaret Ward Catholic Academy with some of the Year 11 pupils.

Being able to have the opportunity to gain interview experience at school is really invaluable and I know the pupils found it very useful.

Jonathan once again raised the insulting sentence of Sharlotte-Sky's killer John Owen in the House of Commons - with Secretary of State for Justice and Deputy Prime Minister, Dominic Raab.

He agreed to meet with Sharlotte's mother Claire and Jonathan to discuss the sentence further.
